Hi, I'm Kelly.

I live in NYC with my wife and our 2 dogs. I talk about them a lot. I also talk about food, tv, LGBT rights, and my attempts to live a healthier lifestyle.

If running, recipes, gifs and gay rights aren't your thing, feel free to move along. It's a big internet and there's room for all of us.

Ok, it’s not my final goal weight but today I reached a mini goal - 10% of my starting weight!! 20 lbs that were once attached to my ass have disappeared!

I’m still 30 lbs away from my ultimate goal but right now I’m trying to focus on enjoying the moment but still not getting too comfortable and slipping up. That’s been my pattern during this whole ordeal - hit a goal and gain 5 lbs. BUT NOT THIS TIME.

Of course we’re headed to the land of fried food and frozen custard but as long as I log my points and don’t totally abandon exercise, I’m not going to panic.

This isn’t a race, it’s a life change.
